Health and Safety at venues
- Loose wires - put wire protector on them to walk over.
- No drinks are allowed on stage in case of spillage on electrical and expensive equipment.
- In case of fire, there are fire alarms/ sprinklers / and fire hydrants (including carbon dioxide
- hydrants).
- They have signs; which tells people where they're going, and where the exits/fire exits are.
- Poles that hold up the building.
- No flash photography - so it doesn't distract the performers
- Clearly marked first aid kits
- Paramedics by the sidelines of needed - (normally at really big venues- like festivals)

Types of people that help out at venues:
- The security; guards the venue and makes sure there isn't any trouble in/from the crowd.
- Riggers; A rigger is one who works on ropes, booms, lifts, hoists and the like for a stage
- production (film, theater, live music, etc.).
- Rookies; help out the bands by carrying their equipment and setting the instruments/equipment on stage.
- Technical crew; help out backstage with the electrics, sounds, special effects, ect.
- Supporting acts; not so big bands that need recognition, they also are there for entertainment before the big major act.
